Greetings friends, friends of friends or UWC alumni with a social conscience!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In less than a month we will be packing up our puppets and our skills as Community Theatre practitioners and researchers and heading to India…
We will be working with a range of people from women experiencing domestic violence in the slums of Mumbai to children and adults with special needs ranging from autism to profound and multiple learning difficulties.
We have received funding from the Leverhulme Trust and The Central School of Speech and Drama who consider our expertise and project proposals 'Examples of Excellence and Innovation within the world of Theatre and Community Development," but this only covers a proportion of transport and accommodation.
Please help support this vital work and research into the transformative and empowering benefits of using drama with some of the hardest to reach communities in the world.
